
Prof. Jinwen Ma

Jinwen Ma received the Ph.D. degree in probability theory and statistics from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 1992. Then, he joined the Department or Institute of Mathematics of Shantou University, Guangdong Province, China, and become a full professor in 1999. Since September 2001, he has joined the Department of Information Science at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University, where he had served as the chair and full professor as well as a Ph. D. tutor in applied mathematics and he is now a full professor and PhD tutor in the Department of Information and Computational Sciences at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University. During 1995 and 2004, he visited several times to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a Research Associate or Fellow. From September 2005 to August 2006, he was a Research Scientist with the Amari Research Unit, RIKEN Brain Science Institute, Japan. From September 2011 to February 2012, he visited as a Scientist to the Department of Systems Medicine and Bioengineering, The Methodist Hospital Research Institute, Houston, USA.
His main research interests include neural networks, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, big data and large language models. He is the author or coauthor of more than 300 academic papers among which more than 60 papers are published in international core journals and top conferences. Actually, these papers have been cited over 4500 times. He has served as the Principal or Major Investigator for twelve national and five provincial or ministerial scientific research grants (including three National Key Research and Development Programs of China) as well as over 10 cross-sectional research projects.
At present, he is a Follow of Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), Vice-Director of the Signal Processing Society in CIE. Moreover, he is the Director of the Education Informationization Special Committee of China Chapter of International Information Study Society. He is the Editor-in-Chief of “Mathematical Computation”, the Associate Editor of “Computerized Medical Imaging and Graphics”, the Gust Editor of “Mathematics”, etc. He has served as a program committee member of several major international conferences such as ISNN, ICIC, ICONIP, ICSP. He was a co-chair of the program committee of 1999 Chinese Conference on Neural Networks and Signal Processing and the chair of the organization committee of the Third International Conference of Intelligence Science (ICIS 2018). He was selected in the 2017 AI Impact Scholars released by Ascemap and scholar.chinaso.com and the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2020 (Career Scientific Impact) released by Stanford University.

Prof. Wang Lijun
North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power, China
Wang Lijun is a professor and Ph.D. tutor at School of Mechanical Engineering, North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power. Her primary research interests include optimization design of control strategies, digital twin for Electromechanical system, optimization of production plans, and comprehensive operation and maintenance system research with Artificial Intelligence for mechanical equipment, especially for mechanical equipment used in water conservancy production. In recent years, she has led and participated in more than 20 vertical projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation and provincial key scientific and technological projects.

Professor Mike Joy
University of Warwick, UK.
Mike Joy is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Warwick, UK. He received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia, and has an MA in Post-compulsory Education from the University of Warwick. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a Senior Member of the ACM. His research interests focus on educational technology and computer science education, and he is the author or co-author of over 250 papers in journals and in international conferences. He has particular expertise in academic integrity, and previous work has included investigations into detecting and preventing source code plagiarism.
His current interests include AI techniques to support student learning and to enhance the
delivery of computer science courses.

Prof. Ah-Lian Kor

I am a Professor in Sustainable and Intelligent Computing and I lead the university Sustainable IT research group since 2018. I have been active in applied research relating to Artificial Intelligence (AI), IT infrastructure as well as data centre energy efficiency and sustainability where the 4 underpinning research areas spans from AI-driven data centre, data centre thermal characteristics analysis, ICT infrastructure energy efficiency, and data centre energy efficiency metrics. Prof. Li Hao

Li Hao, a professor at the School of Information Science and Engineering, Yunnan University, China. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Essex in the UK, a Doctor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Huddersfield in the UK, and is a visiting scholar at the California Institute of Technology in the US. He has been engaged in research related to computer science for a long time and mainly focuses on the research in the fields of distributed computing, cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence, such as LLMs.

Dr. Omed Hassan Ahmed

Dr. Omed Hassan Ahmed is currently the Head of the Information Technology Department, College of Science and Technology, at the University of Human Development, Iraq, where he has been a faculty member since 2013. He received his B.Sc. and H.N.D. (Higher National Diploma) degrees in Information Technology from Teesside University, U.K., his M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Newcastle University, U.K., and his Ph.D. from Huddersfield University, U.K.
He is a very active researcher, with his research interests focusing on optimization, IoT, and machine learning. Dr. Ahmed has authored more than 40 Q1-ranked published papers, reflecting his significant contributions to the field.

Dr. Murad Al-Rajab
Assistant Professor in Computer Science and IT, Abu Dhabi University, UAE.
Murad Al-Rajab earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Huddersfield in the United Kingdom. He also holds two master’s degrees: one in Computer Science and another in Information Systems Management. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at Abu Dhabi University, UAE. He has accumulated more than 17 years of invaluable experience in teaching and research in academia. He had also served as an instructor and as an IT Director at ALHOSN University, UAE. His primary research interests include artificial intelligence in health informatics, mobile learning and applications, smart city applications, and computer science education. He has published research papers in various refereed top journals and presented at international conferences.

Dr. Samia Loucif

Dr. Samia Loucif received her B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Constantine University, Algeria, her Master’s degree in Computer Science from Constantine University in collaboration with the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Glasgow. Since August 2019, she has been serving as an Associate Professor at Zayed University, UAE. Before joining Zayed University, Dr. Samia Loucif was an Associate Professor at ALHOSN University, where she also served as Chair of the Software Engineering Department. She previously worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Faculty of Engineering at Moncton University, New Brunswick, Canada, and as an Assistant Professor in the UAE.
Dr. Loucif’s current research interests include AI, IoT security, SD-WSN, high-performance computing, on-chip networks, performance evaluation, and mathematical modelling of networks. Dr. Loucif has actively contributed to the academic community as a member of organizing committees for several international conferences. She has also served on the program committees of over 30 international conferences and well-established journals. Additionally, Dr. Loucif is a Senior Member of IEEE.

Dr. Aram M. Ahmed

Assistant Professor Dr. Aram M. Ahmed holds a B.Sc. in Software Engineering, an M.Sc. in Computer Network Technology, and a Ph.D. in Optimization and Metaheuristic Algorithms.
Dr. Ahmed specializes in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Optimization Algorithms. As an active researcher, he has authored and contributed to several books and published high-impact papers in peer-reviewed academic journals. Yang Weidong is a professor and Ph.D. advisor at the School of Computer Science, Fudan University, and the head of the Big Data and Knowledge Engineering Laboratory. Prof. Long Hua

Long Hua, a professor at Kunming University of Science and Technology and Yunnan Jiaotong College. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Huddersfield in the UK,and completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the major of Electronic Physics at Yunnan University. She is also a visiting scholar at the University of Waterloo in Canada. Her research interests cover artificial intelligence, wireless networks, and signal processing. She has presided over and participated in a number of national and provincial projects,published many academic papers, and obtained authorization for a number of inventions.

Dr Grace L. Samson

DR. Grace L. Samson holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science, an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Informatics, and a Ph.D. Advance Computer Science.
She conducts extensive research on critical/logical thinking and problem solving through AI (computer vision, machine learning, pattern recognition and data mining). She has contributed to several books and published high-impact papers in peer-reviewed academic journals.
She is currently focused on advancing AI based research in areas in healthcare, environmental sustainability, Optimization, and generative modelling.

Professor Joan Lu

Professor Lu’s extensive research encompasses information access, data retrieval and visualization, security, Machine learning and deep learning for healthcare applications, and Internet computing, etc. She published books and academic articles in AI based machine learning and big data for cancer research as well as awarded several EU grants. Dr.Sima Sinaei, a Senior Researcher at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, has a doctorate in computer science.
